Well. It was 3-rd of Sep 2023 - hot and Sunny Sunday in an Old Port of Marseille. Yearly event - Festival of Associations (all kind of). As a member of "Ukrainian Artists and their friends" I got a chance to participate in a live show. I got 15 min sharp allocated for performance + preparation, so I chose 4 songs and saved it in 1 backing track without pause to minimise a bit timing and fit in range. Thats why there is no interaction with audience in between songs from my side occured. 

Was really awesome that performance time was at 17 pm - when heat already dropped a bit (yeah, it was really hot day - unexpected 30 degrees), also sunlight was not straight into face anymore (as 1 year ago, when we performed at 1 pm approx). 

To minimize preparation time I simplified my setup as much as could - no usual Laptop with soundcard and own condenser mic, no pedalboard. I just took 1gutar pedal with me - Digitech Death Metal. Its equipped with built-in amp som, so was Ok to insert direct to line and still have appropriate sound. I was suprrized by the way that clean sound of guitar which was bypassing pedal - was still fine. Dont know - maybe DI-Box on the way did something.

I was scared to perform without my in-ear monitors which I gor used to (sounder told he can not connect my device to his mixer...). But still - it was 4 floor monitors on stage, so was fine.

Related "sound" - while checking video afterwards - I feel that backing track was too low (or guitar too loud) - but it was upto sound engineer - not in my hands. But there is no supprise that levels will not be ideal - as mixing console and sounder was behind a stage, not in front as it usually suppose to be - so he can not hear how does it sounds in front. However in theory he can use headset to listen to mixer main out - but he didnt. 

Anyway - I really enjoyed event. I seen reaction of people, they followed clapping in "Fortepiano" intro - thats great.

Of course, I can not, not to fails somewhere in basic things - now I forgot to play solo ending on 3-rd song, but otherwice think was Ok.
